This site is provided by Michael Muntner. He hopes you visit often. Once here, you can do many dome-related things. If this is your
first visit, or you haven't stopped by for a while, you may want to take a short tour of some of Michael's favorite snow domes. He up-dates this gallery as new additions are made to the collection. Also, he has lots of snow domes for sale--plastic domes as well as old glass ones. Of course, Michael is always interested in adding to his collection. So if you have domes to sell or trade, send him an e-mail at trylon@erols.com.
LET'S TAKE A TOUR
Michael has a collection of over 4,000 snow domes, water globes or, as they say in Britain, snow storms. Perhaps you'd like to see some of them. But like many
collectors, you might like certain types of snow domes more than others. Some are relatively new (dating from the mid 60's) and are plastic souvenir snow domes and others are older glass souvenir water globes.
Snow domes also advertise products and there are yet others that are just funky. Take a look.
SNOW DOMES FOR SALE
There are lots of them. To make looking at the list a little easier, they are sort of organized into categories. The plastic domes, yes those 'cheesy' things you see in airports, are very coveted by collectors--especially when they are from exotic locales, obscure tourist traps and roadside attractions that have simply gone out of business. But since Michael has so many plastic snow domes for sale, they are broken up into 'Lots':
Lot 1-Plastic , Lot 2-Plastic and Lot 3-Plastic . But old glass snow domes are not as plentiful. Some were souvenirs but many were just decorative. There's only one list for these, Lot 4-Glass
These list may not be up-dated as often as Michael would like and some of the snow domes listed may have already been sold. So if you'd like to buy any, send an e-mail to at
trylon@erols.com
to make determine that they are still available. Please be sure to include the 'Lot' number, the number of the dome as well as the description and price.
TOP WANTS
Michael is always looking to add to his collection. He will either trade snow domes for ones he doesn't have or will buy them. He probably has a few old, rare plastic and glass snow domes set aside (that are not for sale) just for trading purposes. What's he looking for? Well just about anything he doesn't already have. Does that help? Well maybe his list of Top Wants would. If you have just one or an entire collection for trade or sale, let him know.
